Does the overlay work in Valorant?

Yes. Epic Crosshair is a system-level overlay, so it is game-agnostic: it draws your marker on top of whatever the screen shows, including Valorant running in Windowed Fullscreen. Open the app, pick a center-dot or small-cross loadout, set Valorant’s display mode to Windowed Fullscreen, and the marker stays pinned through agent select, buy phase, and every round.

Because the overlay lives outside the game, patches and agent updates never break it. Your loadout looks the same on patch day as it did yesterday.

Anti-cheat note for Valorant players

Vanguard runs at kernel level and watches for software that reads or modifies game memory. Epic Crosshair does neither — it touches no game files, memory, or processes, and it sends no input to the game. That keeps it outside what Vanguard scans for. Riot’s policies still evolve, so skim the current rules before competitive play rather than assuming any tool is permanently cleared.
