Why does my game need borderless or windowed mode?
The overlay draws on top of the screen. Exclusive fullscreen hands the display to the game, so borderless or windowed mode keeps the crosshair visible.
Does Epic Crosshair modify game files?
No. It draws a marker on top of the screen and does not change game files, settings, or save data.
How do I hide the crosshair?
Open Epic Crosshair and toggle visibility off, or quit the app. The marker disappears immediately.
